Eugene Clark, Lead Creative Consultant, CEO

Eugene Clark, founder of RosenClark, has a 35 year career as an artist and speaker.  His motivational messages have been received to critical acclaim nationally, putting him at the top of the corporate "wish list", for creativity training.  In addition to overseeing his own creative arts firm, he is a professor at The College for Creative Studies, Detroit, MI, and Oakland University, Rochester Hills, MI.  His personal work is published by Harper Prism, and has received commissions to create large-scale public art. He is selected to exhibit an outdoor sculpture in ArtPrize Nine, Grand Rapids, MI. He has six books to his credit, the most recent titled "Anatomical Illustration for the Figure Artist", being used as a text book in university art programs. His goal is to help businesses create the best strategies for success and he is a firm believer that creative thinking and doing are an essential component. He holds a BFA, College for Creative Studies, Detroit, MI, and an MFA, Wayne State University, Detroit, MI.

 

Melissa Clark, Lead Creative Consultant, Executive Director

Melissa Clark, founder of RosenClark, began her career as a competitive figure skater, taking top national honors early in her career.  She soon became sought after as a coach realizing her potential to inspire and motivate young skaters. This led to an interest in theater where her writing and choreography became key, while becoming active in the Detroit, MI, and Ann Arbor, MI, theater scene.  Along the way she was recruited by the corporate world and established herself as a top

sales associate for Village Green Property Management.  She currently writes and edits for companies and individuals

having published work to her credit.  Her goal is to provide the most creative approach to thinking for companies searching for solutions.  She holds a BA, Wayne State University, Detroit, MI, and an MFA, University of Michigan, Ann Arbor, MI.

 


Matt Faulkner, Creative Consultant

Critically acclaimed author and illustrator Matt Faulkner has created over 37 books for children and young adults. Recently his picture book, A TASTE OF COLORED WATER, was selected by the School Library Journal for it's list of powerful books that encourage kids and parents to discuss diversity. The San Francisco Chronicle called his new graphic novel GAIJIN: AMERICAN PRISONER OF WAR- "Superb!”. Matt has taught under-graduate and graduate courses in illustration, character design and visual storytelling at both the Art Academy University / San Francisco, and The College for Creative Studies / Detroit.  Matt lives with his wife, author and librarian Kris Remenar, their two kids and two cats in the lower right hand corner of Michigan.

 

 

Diane Heath, Creative Consultant


Diane Heath is an arts educator at Stoney Creek High School in Rochester Hills, MI  since its opening in 2002. Her students have been awarded over $1million dollars in scholarship awards yearly since 2010 along with earning dozens of National Scholastic Art Awards. She serves as the districts Secondary Art Coordinator, an Adjunct Instructor for Kendall College of Art and Design and as a Consultant for Kendall College. She also helped developed and direct the Oakland University Summer Art Intensive Camp. She worked with General Motors to help create the GM Career Day Gold Key Event  She is a member of the Oakland Schools Advisory Board and from 1998 – 2014 served on the Southeastern Michigan Scholastic Art and Writing Awards Advisory Board She also serves as the MAEA Awards Chairperson . She was awarded the Michigan Art Education Association Secondary Teacher of the Year Award 2010, 2006 Kendall Art Educator Award, 2008 Oakland University Educator Award, 2003 College for Creative Studies Educator Award

 

 

Jennifer George, Creative Consultant

 

J. George went to WSU and earned a BFA in Theatre ( Acting ) and a minor in French. Then she moved to Paris for a work experience program with Euro Disney, and  continued to study in France, earning a Brevet in Acting from the Ecole Florent and then two degrees from the Sorbonne University of Paris IV ( a DEUG and License)  in the Theatre Arts of writing acting and directing. She has taught at Marygrove College, WSU, OCC and the Birmingham Community House. Ms George facilitates creative workshops in the domains of Acting, Writing, and Relaxation.
